Dr. Sharon Soria

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Sharon Soria is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2004. In addition, she completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in 2006. Following her education, Dr. Soria received post-graduate training in orthodontics from the International Association for Orthodontics New England Chapter.

Dr. Soria holds privileges at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where she performs hospital dentistry. She likes to stay up to date in pediatric dentistry by reading literature and taking continuing education courses. In her personal time, Dr. Soria enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Mario, and their daughters, Mila and Ava.

Dr. Pradeepa Padmanabhan

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Pradeepa is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. She obtained her degree in dental surgery at the Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital in Bangalore, India. After moving to the U.S., she obtained a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UConn School of Dental Medicine in Farmington. Following her residency, she was offered a fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UConn. With her interest in pediatric dentistry, she obtained a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the UConn program offered at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Pradeepa received training in orthodontics from the International Association for Orthodontics New England Chapter. She holds privileges at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where she performs hospital dentistry.

When not doing dentistry, Dr. Pradeepa enjoys travelling and cooking. She also loves going on hikes with her son, Abishek, and husband, Kannan. She especially enjoys spending time with her son with his school activities and sports.

Dr. Jason Raney

Orthodontic Specialist

Dr. Jason Raney is a Board Certified orthodontist. Dr. Raney received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2003 and continued his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Since graduating his orthodontic program in 2005, he has worked as an associate in several practices to gain experience before opening up his own practice in 2008.

Orthodontics is a profession that is constantly evolving. Thus, to stay current with the latest improvements and technologies, he attends several continuing education courses each year. Moreover, Dr. Raney is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists®, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Tolland Dental Society and the UConn Dental Alumni Board (founding member).

Dr. Raney grew up in Durham, Connecticut. While not in the office, his life revolves around being a supportive husband to his wife, Nicole, and a father to his four children: Sebastian, Stella, Luca and Alexa. He loves riding bikes with his kids and spending warm summer days at the beach. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, running, traveling, and volunteering at his favorite charity: The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Dr. Dante Paolino

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Paolino is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. He grew up in Woodbury, Connecticut, and is happy to be practicing in his home state.

Dr. Paolino is a triple graduate of the University of Connecticut, having received his Bachelor of Science in biology (Magna Cum Laude), Doctor of Dental Medicine and pediatric dentistry certification from our state’s flagship university.

In addition, Dr. Paolino also completed a year of general dentistry training at NY Presbyterian Hospital, where he provided dental treatment to children and adults undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy and bone marrow transplants. He also had experience providing general dentistry care before applying to the UConn Pediatric Dentistry Residency. During his training, Dr. Paolino participated in an outreach mission providing dental treatments to underserved children and their families in Ecuador.

In his spare time, Dr. Paolino likes to travel, cook and spend time with his wife Isabella, his daughter Alessandra, and his son Luca.
